The Concept
Paint & Sip is traditionally a fun opportunity for being creative and socialising with other people in the group in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Many participants would not have painted in a long time and would not even remember the last time they held a paint-brush.
To relieve the stress of what to paint, each Paint & Sip is guided, with sample artworks that the participants can choose to paint. Freed from all pressure, the process is meant to awaken your creativity, while being a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The Process
In an intimate setting, participants create artworks on canvas. The artwork that is presented to them is pre-selected, and can tie into a theme. For corporates, it can illustrate your company vision or represent a current company theme or goal. This is a great way for teams to work together and creatively express themselves!
The entire workshop is facilitated, with guidance on drawing, painting tip and tricks, as well as creating an environment for a collaborative learning experience incorporating conversation on areas that you are looking to address through the workshop.
The Outcomes
Art can be a very calming experience and has an impact on improving cognitive abilities. While the end result on the face of it is the canvases that participants paint, there is a lot more that each one takes back.
Improved Creativity
Painting is a world full of possibilities. Each participant will be painting the same artwork, but the creative process they follow to get their final painting will be unique to each. This will help them understand that there can be many different positive ways to express and execute thoughts and ideas. Participants are often surprised with what a team can achieve in just a few hours.
